Job summary

Whitby Oshawa Honda is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership. The Parts Advisor assists internal and external customers with parts requests to ensure the correct part is obtained the first time, and helps in locating parts in inventory or placing orders.

The role involves maintaining and tracking inventory and accessories, assisting in receiving and stocking orders, recording backorders, using the DMS, and

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum High School Diploma.
• Previous Parts Advisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal and external customers with parts requests to ensure the correct part is obtained the first time.
• Identify correct parts and locate them in inventory or order the requested part.
• Assist in the operations of the Parts Department by maintaining and tracking the parts inventory and accessories.
• Receive and stock parts orders, record and monitor backorders, use DMS to look up and monitor parts requests.
• Maintain proper filing system for all paperwork corresponding to repair orders, special orders and back orders.

Candidates must possess:
