Job summary

Whitby Oshawa Honda is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership. The Parts Advisor assists internal and external customers with parts requests, identifies correct parts, locates them in inventory, and orders parts as needed.

The role also maintains parts inventory and backorders, uses the DMS to manage requests, and records disbursed parts on repair orders.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Previous Parts Advisor experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist internal and external customers with parts requests and identify correct parts.
• Locate parts in inventory or order requested parts.
• Maintain and track parts inventory and accessories; process backorders.
• Use the DMS to look up and monitor parts requests and record parts disbursed on repair orders.

Whitby Oshawa Honda is currently seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

The Parts Advisor assists internal and external customers with parts requests to ensure that the correct part is obtained the first time. This includes identifying correct parts and locating them in inventory or ordering the requested part. The Parts Advisor also assists in the operations of the Parts Departments by maintaining and tracking the parts inventory and accessories. Assists in receiving and stocking parts orders, records and monitors backorders, uses DMS to look up and monitor parts requests, recording parts disbursed per repair order. Maintains proper filing system for all paperwork corresponding to repair orders, special orders and back order.

Candidates must possess:

• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Previous Parts Advisor experience preferred
