Job summary

Orleans Toyota in Ottawa is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team of customer‑focused professionals within a high‑volume, process‑driven dealership. The role involves helping customers with parts requests, identifying and locating parts in inventory, and processing orders to ensure first‑time accuracy.

Responsibilities include inventory maintenance, backorder tracking, using the DMS for parts lookup, and proper paperwork filing for repair orders and back orders.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum High School Diploma.
• Previous Parts Advisor experience preferred.

Orleans Toyotais currently seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

The Parts Advisor assists internal and external customers with parts requests to ensure that the correct part is obtained the first time. This includes identifying correct parts and locating them in inventory or ordering the requested part. The Parts Advisor also assists in the operations of the Parts Departments by maintaining and tracking the parts inventory and accessories. Assists in receiving and stocking parts orders, records and monitors backorders, uses DMS to look up and monitor parts requests, recording parts disbursed per repair order. Maintains proper filing system for all paperwork corresponding to repair orders, special orders and back order.

Candidates must possess:

• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Previous Parts Advisor experience preferred
