Thermo King Eastern Canada sells services and reconditions all major brands of transport equipment to manage temperature control environments for food and other perishables. We are a fast growing company looking to add an additional, and exceptional, Parts Advisor to join our winning team.

This role is perfect for motivated and self-driven candidates that have a knack for assisting mechanics and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies.

Responsibilities would include:

• Maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Support technicians and service advisors in securing required parts to complete work orders.
• Provide counter support for parts issues to shop technicians and walk-in customers.
• Provide phone support to customers regarding parts.
• Occasional delivery of parts as required.
• Source non-stock parts for service jobs.
• Receive and stock parts for shop and service vehicles.
• Maintain accurate control of pending orders/receipts.
• Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
• Prepare and track parts invoices.
• Document and report discrepancies in the inventory system.

The successful candidate will have …

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of previous trucking/automotive industry experience required.
• Working experience of 2 years in the Parts Department is a must.
• G License.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Tech savvy and the ability to analyze and interpret basic parts department reports, perform internet searches, and look up parts catalog.
