Best Buy Ads is seeking a partner marketing specialist in the greater Vancouver area with a remote-first approach. You will own the end-to-end marketing relationship with partners, focusing on strategic planning, growth, and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive experience in advertising/marketing, with a retail/CPG backdrop.
• Excellent communication, creative thinking, influencing and multi-tasking abilities.
• Fluent in digital media concepts (CPCs, ROAS) with sales and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage internal stakeholders and partners.

• Drive incremental revenue for Best Buy Ads in entertainment/gaming by building vendor relationships with major tech brands.
• Identify and pitch new campaign opportunities through regular vendor meetings.

You will work on a variety of partner marketing campaigns from exciting product launches to full-funnel brand and sales building campaigns. With a focus on account management and business development, you own the partner marketing relationship and planning. The successful candidates need to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes. What you’ll do as a partner marketing specialist:

• Own the end-to-end marketing relationship with partners, serving as main marketing point of contact and focusing on strategic planning, relationship building and business growth
• Drive incremental revenue for Best Buy Ads in the entertainment/gaming category by building strong vendor relationships with major tech brands
• Identify and pitch new campaign opportunities through regular vendor meetings
• Develop campaign plans and pitch decks for product launches and seasonal events
• Build high performance advertising plans that achieve measurable business & brand outcomes
• Partner with customer insights and analytics teams to explore shopping behaviors and analyze campaign performance data to identify new advertising investment opportunities

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years progressive experience in advertising/marketing with a minimum 3 years of experience in a retail or CPG environment
• Strong communication, creative thinking, influencing, organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Fluent in digital media (CPCs, ROAS…) with complementary sales and negotiation skills
• Ability to work autonomously and navigate internal stakeholders and partners with confidence

Annualized Compensation Range $66,000.00 - $75,000.00 This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above. Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
