About the Opportunity

The Partner Marketing and Events Lead will lead the strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of integrated partner marketing programs that drive awareness, account engagement, partner-sourced pipeline, partner-influenced revenue, and scalable ecosystem growth.

This role will be responsible for turning partner relationships into measurable market impact through integrated campaigns, co-marketing programs, partner enablement, MDF strategy, and AI-enabled campaign scale. The Partner Marketing and Events Lead will work closely with Strategic Partners, Alliances, Demand Center, Field Marketing, Revenue Development, Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Digital, and Brand teams to activate high-impact partner motions across with-partner, to-partner, and through-partner channels.

What You'll Get to Do
  • Develop and own integrated partner marketing strategies aligned to GTM priorities, segment-specific growth motions, and priority partner objectives.
  • Build annual and quarterly partner marketing plans that define target audiences, campaign motions, partner roles, investment levels, expected outcomes, and performance targets.
  • Translate partner strategy into executable programs that support pipeline creation, pipeline acceleration, partner influence, and ecosystem growth.
  • Create scalable partner marketing models that balance 1:1 strategic partner plans with 1:many partner programs that can be repeated across regions, segments, and partner types.
  • Identify where partner marketing can amplify Demand Center, Field Marketing, and Sales plays through partner credibility, reach, co-branded content, and joint market activation.
Partner Enablement & Activation
  • Build programs that enable strategic partners, system integrators, resellers, and ecosystem partners to position Dayforce more effectively in the market.
  • Develop co-branded campaign kits, messaging frameworks, partner playbooks, partner nurture assets, event-in-a-box materials, and sales enablement content.
  • Support partner “to” motions that educate, activate, and accelerate partner practices around Dayforce.
  • Ensure partners are equipped with clear value propositions, campaign assets, target personas, proof points, customer stories, competitive positioning, and follow-up plays.
  • Use AI to scale partner enablement content and tailor materials by partner type, region, industry, segment, or campaign motion.
  • Build partner activation programs that improve partner participation in Demand Center, Field Marketing, and Growth Marketing initiatives.
MDF Strategy, Budget Ownership & ROI Discipline
  • Own MDF planning, allocation, execution, performance tracking, and optimization for assigned partner programs.
  • Ensure MDF investments are tied to clear campaign objectives, measurable pipeline outcomes, and minimum ROI expectations.
  • Maintain disciplined budget management with accurate forecasting, spend tracking, reconciliation, and no material overage or underspend.
  • Build clear recommendations on where to scale, optimize, or discontinue partner-funded activities based on performance.
  • Partner with Alliances and Finance stakeholders to ensure MDF utilization supports both partner relationship goals and measurable revenue impact.
  • Support the broader goal of disciplined MDF utilization and a minimum payback expectation for partner marketing investments.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Serve as the senior marketing point of contact for assigned strategic partners and partner marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with Alliances, Sales, Demand Center, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand, PR, Digital, Marketing Operations, Revenue Development, and regional teams.
  • Represent partner marketing in integrated campaign planning, quarterly business planning, and cross-functional growth motions.
  • Ensure partner marketing programs align to broader Growth Marketing priorities, GTM plays, segment plans, sales plays, and event calendars.
  • Influence stakeholders across teams without direct authority and bring clarity to ownership, timelines, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
  • Identify risks early, especially around unclear ownership, weak follow-up, poor targeting, duplicated activity, or partner programs that do not connect to revenue outcomes.
Reporting, Optimization & Executive Readouts
  • Deliver regular performance updates on partner marketing outcomes, including engagement, funnel conversion, sourced pipeline, influenced pipeline, MDF utilization, campaign ROI, and partner contribution.
  • Build clear post-program readouts with insights, recommendations, and next-best actions.
  • Use AI and data analysis to identify performance trends, campaign learnings, partner opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
  • Develop executive-level reporting that connects partner marketing activity to revenue impact, not just activity volume.
  • Create feedback loops with Sales, Revenue Development, Alliances, Demand Center, and Field Marketing to continuously improve targeting, follow-up, messaging, partner mix, and program design.
Skills and Experience We Value
  • 7+ years of experience in partner marketing, alliance marketing, demand generation, field marketing, ecosystem marketing, or B2B campaign marketing.
  • Experience building and executing partner-led, partner-through, and partner-with marketing programs.
  • Experience working with strategic alliances, system integrators, resellers, consulting partners, marketplace partners, or technology ecosystem partners.
  • Strong understanding of B2B demand generation, pipeline creation, campaign planning, account engagement, funnel conversion, and revenue reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage integrated campaigns across events, webinars, content, digital, social, email, nurture, PR, and sales follow-up.
  • Experience managing MDF or partner marketing budgets with clear ROI expectations.
  • Strong ability to translate partner strategy into executable programs with measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Alliances, Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Revenue Development.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with limited resources.
  • Comfortable with pipeline reporting, campaign performance analysis, executive-level readouts, and data-driven optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools or automation to improve campaign planning, content development, personalization, reporting, or operational efficiency.
  • Strong strategic campaign planning, pipeline accountability, partner relationship management, and demand generation skills.
  • Strong operational discipline, executive communication, data-driven optimization, and cross-functional influence.
  • Strong budget and MDF management skills with an ownership mindset.
What Would Make You Stand Out
  • Experience in HCM, SaaS, enterprise software, HR technology, workforce management, payroll, or adjacent B2B technology markets.
  • Experience working with global or regional partner ecosystems.
  • Experience managing MDF programs and tracking ROI.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, Power BI, Demandbase, or similar marketing and sales systems.
  • Experience building scalable partner campaign kits, co-branded content, and partner enablement programs.
