About The Opportunity

The Channel Partner Manager is responsible for driving pipeline growth and revenue generation by developing, managing, and expanding relationships with channel partners, particularly financial institutions, accountants, and bookkeepers across Canada. This role focuses on recruiting new partners, nurturing existing relationships, and collaborating closely with partners to execute strategies that generate qualified leads and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of partner ecosystems, experience within the Canadian SMB market, and a passion for building strategic partnerships that deliver measurable business results.

What You’ll Get To Do
Program Development
  • Define and develop the structure of the Channel Partner Program, including the approach, requirements, and cross‑functional engagement model.
  • Establish and grow the Channel Partner Program for accountants and bookkeepers.
  • Relaunch and expand the financial institution partner program.
Partner Recruitment & Development
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners, including accountants, bookkeepers, regional banks, credit unions, IT service providers, and industry associations.
  • Develop and execute partner enablement programs that equip partners with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to successfully position and sell Dayforce solutions.
  • Build joint business plans with partners to drive lead generation, pipeline growth, and revenue.
Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with channel partners, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate partner performance, establish growth objectives, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Resolve partner issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
Pipeline Generation & Sales Growth
  • Collaborate with partners on go‑to‑market strategies, co‑branded marketing campaigns, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Monitor partner sales activity, pipeline health, and performance against established goals.
  • Support partners throughout the sales cycle by providing product expertise and participating in customer meetings when required.
Partner Enablement & Training
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing training on Dayforce products, value proposition, and target market opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain partner enablement materials, including sales playbooks, product guides, and demonstration content.
  • Facilitate ongoing learning initiatives to maintain partner proficiency and certification.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other internal teams to align strategies and support partner initiatives.
  • Provide partner feedback to influence product enhancements and marketing strategies.
  • Execute joint marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and demand generation.
Skills And Experience We Value
  • 5+ years of experience in channel partner management, business development, or sales, preferably within financial services or accounting ecosystems.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets through channel partnerships.
  • Experience working with Canadian SMB customers and an understanding of their business needs.
  • Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and partner management tools.
What Would Make You Stand Out
  • Experience within HCM, fintech, payroll, or accounting software industries.
  • Familiarity with regional financial institutions, accounting firms, and industry associations across Canada.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Proficiency in English

Proficiency in English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English‑speaking stakeholders, co‑workers, managers and/or clients across the world. Further, our back office support teams, including but not limited to Human Resources, are primarily English speaking. Employees need to be able to communicate with these departments in English to appropriately administer their business relationship. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English‑speaking co‑workers, managers, stakeholders and/or clients, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
