Job summary

Colchester Municipality is hiring for multiple Program Leaders to support the Multisport Program's Active Start and Fundamentals tracks for children in Colchester. Responsibilities include supervising sessions, ensuring quality, preparing activities, and engaging with participants.

Role requires energy, organization, and strong communication; CPR/First Aid and background checks are required or provided within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in a sport or recreation setting.
• Experience with program planning and leadership.
• Must have own transportation to commute to multiple work sites.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of offer.
• Vulnerable Sector Check and Nova Scotia Child Abuse Registry Checks are conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations of the Multisport Program.
• Ensure program quality and assist with session preparation and delivery.
• Greet, engage, and monitor participants as required.
• Assist in data collection and evaluation and perform administrative tasks (record keeping, final report, parent/guardian communication).
• Support Community Sport Organization personnel with session planning and delivery.
