Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Monitor day-to-day operations of the Multisport Program.
  • Ensure program quality and assist with session preparation and delivery.
  • Greet, engage, and monitor participants as required.
  • Assist in data collection and evaluation and perform administrative tasks (record keeping, final report, parent/guardian communication).
  • Support Community Sport Organization personnel with session planning and delivery.

About the role

The Municipality Colchester’s Multisport Program is accepting applications for a minimum of four Program Leaders to help facilitate our Active Start (For those in Grades Primary and 1) and /or Fundamentals (For those in Grades 2 and 3) programs. The role of this position requires the successful candidates to be organized, energetic and positive individuals interested in assisting children in Colchester grow through sport. The incumbents will report to the Active Communities Coordinator and maintain communication to confirm priorities, ongoing direction, and reporting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: monitoring day to day operations of the Multisport Program, ensuring program quality, assisting Community Sport Organization personnel with session preparation and delivery, greet, engage, and monitor participants as required, assist in data collection and evaluation, perform administrative tasks as required (record keeping, final report, parent/guardian communication etc.)

Salary: $17.50/hr.

Active Start (Primary and Grade 1)

Employment Duration: September 2026 – June 2027

Days: Days of the week vary (weekdays and weekends)

Hours: Up to 10 hrs. per week

Fundamentals (Grades 2 and 3)

Employment Duration: September 2026 – June 2027

Days: Days of the week vary (weekdays and weekends)

Hours: Up to 10 hrs. per week
