Job summary

Saputo Inc. is accepting applications for a Warehouse Attendant in New Brunswick. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will pick, restock, receive and ship loads, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards to support daily operations.

Ideal candidates possess forklift certification, solid material handling experience, and good computer skills. You will collaborate with a strong team, operate across day and night shifts, and uphold GMPs to deliver high-quality dairy products.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certification required or prepared to complete.
• Previous material handling experience is an asset.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Demonstrate communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, results oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong team orientation.
• Able to work all shifts (Days and Nights, 8 or 10 hours).

Responsibilities

• Guide and perform all warehouse functions as directed by the warehouse supervisor, including shipping, receiving, inventory and related duties.
• Carry out duties and SOPs as directed and ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the warehouse facility.
• Adhere to SOPs and GMPs to ensure high-quality products.
• Safely transport finished products and equipment, manually or with powered equipment.
• Ship and receive loads, organize and consolidate stock.
• Ensure safe conditions in the work environment at all times.
• Report quality, food safety and health incidents to appropriate departments.

Overview of the Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Attendant is responsible for picking and restocking product, ordering, receiving and shipping loads, cleaning and other duties in accordance with the standards and safety objectives established by Senior Management of the company.

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Will guide and perform all warehouse functions as directed by the warehouse supervisor which will include shipping, receiving, inventory and various other duties as required.
• Responsible to ensure all duties and warehouse SOP's are carried out as directed.
• Will maintain proper housekeeping of the warehouse facility and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and GMPs to ensure the highest quality product possible
• Safely transport finished products and equipment manually or by using powered equipment
• Ship and receive loads, organize and consolidate stock
• Ensure safe conditions exist always within the work environment
• Comply with Health & Safety, HACCP, and company policies
• Report quality, food safety, health and safety incidents (within or beyond their control) to appropriate departments as necessary.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Will hold, or be prepared to complete, forklift operator certification.
• Previous Material Handling experience is an asset
• Working knowledge of computers
• Demonstrate communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated, results oriented and work well with minimal supervision.
• Strong team orientation.
• Must be available to work all shifts (Days and Nights - 8 or 10 hour)

Salary Range - $26.15 - 27.55
