Job summary

The Salvation Army Huntsville Thrift Store is seeking a part-time Clerk to support daily retail operations at our Huntsville location. You will greet customers and donors, process transactions, and help with sorting and merchandising while upholding our mission and values.

This 21-hour per week role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work with volunteers. Flexibility in scheduling and physical stamina for lifting up to 40 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary schooling or equivalent required.
• Experience handling cash and operating a POS system preferred.
• Able to assist with donations, sorting and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors in a friendly manner.
• Process cash and debit transactions accurately with minimal variances.
• Assist with sorting, pricing, stocking and merchandise displays.
