Job summary

The Body Shop Canada Ltd in Newmarket is seeking a Customer Consultant to support the Store Management team in delivering retail excellence, driving strong sales results, and creating engaging customer experiences.

You will coach Customer Consultants, share product knowledge, assist with training, and help bring our brand to life through storytelling and product demonstrations. A passion for beauty and customer service is essential.

• Shape a customer-focused store experience by coaching Customer Consultants to drive customer engagement through storytelling, product demonstration, and bringing our brand to life.
• Support training and onboarding of new Customer Consultants.

• Experience in a customer-facing role and a genuine passion for the retail beauty industry
• Ability to communicate & listen effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers & provide appropriate solutions to customer needs
• A positive mindset with the willingness to continuously develop yourself and your teammates
• Ability to proactively manage time, multi-task, while working independently with minimal direction

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
• Ability to lift and move products up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent reaching, bending, crouching as required
