Qualifications

• College diploma in related Social/Human Sciences.
• Minimum 1 year experience (placement or paid) in therapeutic or correctional settings.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with databases.
• Accessibility to reliable transportation.
• Must be granted Reliability Status before employment can start.
• Ability to manage occasional exposure to vicarious traumatic stress.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients with personalized plans to boost social functioning.
• Facilitating engaging groups.
• Monitoring and documenting medication distribution.
• Mediating disputes and promoting peaceful resolution.
• Assisting with urinalysis and breathalyzer testing.
