Job summary

Dollar Tree Canada is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Grand Bend, ON to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandise placement, opening/closing procedures, and adherence to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is beneficial.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
Perform opening and closing procedures.
Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
Assist in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll/scheduling, and cash handling.
Protect and secure store assets including cash.
Ensure a clean, stocked, and presentable store environment.
Support the Store Manager in training and development of Store Associates.
Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
