Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Halton Hills, Ontario, is seeking a driver to pick, stage and safely deliver automotive parts to pro customers, and to pick up returns and cores. You will support in-store promotions by dropping off weekly flyers and engaging customers to recommend parts or services.

You will also handle credit accounts, upsell products, maintain cleanliness and stock levels, and help with inventory. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required.

Job Description

Position Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned

• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques

Prior Experience that Sets a Driver up for Success

• Automotive parts experience is preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation Range: The range of expected compensation for this role is between 17.95 CAD and 20.70 CAD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered to a successful candidate depends on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
