Job summary

Homewood Health is seeking a Solution Focused Brief Therapy Counsellor to provide in-person, contract-based EFAP services in the Montreal region. This role supports individuals and families with short-term, focused counselling within a Stay at Work program.

The ideal candidate holds a master's in counselling or a social work degree with registration, has 3 years of counselling experience, and demonstrates strong English communication; French is an asset.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counselling or Bachelor of Social Work with registration.
• Registration/clinical membership with regulatory college in province.
• Minimum 3 years of counselling, social services, or addiction service experience.
• EFAP experience is an asset.
• Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as required by Homewood Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, solution-oriented counselling to address concerns.
• Work with adults, couples, families and children.
• Adhere to professional standards and best practices.
• Engage in clinical consultation with the management team as required.
