Job summary

Giant Tiger in Coaticook, QC is seeking a part-time Softgoods Associate to deliver friendly customer service, process sales at cash registers and self-checkouts, and keep the checkout area tidy and stocked. You’ll monitor hot items, apply markdowns, and maintain planograms with accurate signage.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and strong communication in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Record customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and SCOs accurately.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes when needed.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance of policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
• Follow health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Keep checkout work area clean and organized.
• Uphold loss prevention best practices.
