Giant Tiger in Halifax, Nova Scotia is seeking a Softgoods Associate (Full-Time) to deliver high levels of customer service and manage checkout processes, shelf replenishment, and pricing updates. You will handle transactions at cash registers and SCOs, support planograms, markdowns, and adherence to store policies.

The role requires strong teamwork and multitasking abilities, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Accurately record customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and self checkouts (SCOs).
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes when needed.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
• Follow health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Keep checkout work area clean and organized.
• Follow loss prevention best practices.
