Job summary

Giant Tiger is seeking a friendly, motivated Softgoods Associate (Part-Time) in Lasalle, Quebec. You will deliver strong customer service, assist customers, and help manage checkout processes and product merchandising to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role includes day/evening shifts, weekend work, and a 35-40 hour weekly schedule for full-time and up to 24 hours weekly for part-time, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of customer service.
• Accurately record customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and SCOs.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes when needed.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
• Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed.
• Keep checkout work area clean and organized.
• Follow loss prevention best practices.
