Job summary

Thermea spa village Whitby is hiring a part-time Dishwasher to support our wellness village operations in Whitby, Ontario. You will assist in dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and basic prep, reporting to the Sous-Chef.

We value a strong work ethic, teamwork, and reliable, clear communication with kitchen management. Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is available.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glasses and utensils by hand or in a dishwasher, scrub pots and pans and polish utensils and glassware.
• Clean refrigerators, ovens and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen (floors, equipment, materials).
• Empty garbage cans and transport garbage to containers.
• Put away dishes in an orderly and safe manner in the appropriate areas.
• Perform other related tasks.

What we need

Reporting to the Sous-Chef, the Dishwasher is responsible to keep the kitchens clean while taking care of the dishwashing. The incumbent is responsible for washing dishes (utensils, glasses, pots, etc.) and must also perform housekeeping tasks such as washing floors, ovens, hoods, etc. The dishwasher is also a strong support to the cooks and may, on occasion, assist in the preparation of certain recipes and set‑ups.

What you’ll do
