Securitas Canada Limited in Winnipeg is seeking a part-time Security Guard to protect client properties and personnel. The role involves patrolling, monitoring access, and reporting incidents using available security systems.

Applicants must hold a valid provincial Security Guard License, have strong customer service skills, First Aid and CPR, and be prepared for on-site training and ongoing professional development.

Formación

• Must hold a valid provincial Security Guard License.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• One or more years of security experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of security operations and procedures is expected.
• Excellent organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to write routine logs and reports.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office) are needed.
• Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols.

Responsabilidades

• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and safety issues.
• Preserves order and enforces site regulations as needed.
• Controls access to the site through the admittance process.
• Patrols the site and checks for unsafe conditions and violations.
• Provides excellent customer service while minimizing risk to property.
• Monitors intrusion detection systems and video monitoring software.
• Uses computer systems to monitor sites and complete trainings.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident during accidents or investigations.

SECURITY GUARD – PART TIME

Location: Winnipeg

We are seeking Part-Time security guard for the Winnipeg area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, assets, and personnel.

• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.

• Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

• Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.

• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.

• Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client property and assets.

• Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.

• Uses computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.

• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must have valid provincial Security Guard License

• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills

• Must have First Aid and CPR

• 1 or more years of security experience (preferred)

• Working knowledge of security operations and procedures

• Excellent organizational skills

• Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports

• Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.

• Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols

SCHEDULE:

• Mon-Fri 1430-1830 with possibility of hours change from 1430-2030 by Mid September
