Job summary

Near North District School Board is seeking a part-time custodian for Humphrey Public School. The role operates 7:30am to 11:30am, ensuring a clean, safe and healthy learning environment through grounds maintenance and custodial tasks.

The position requires a Secondary School Graduation Diploma and prior experience in building and grounds maintenance. Employment is open to all, with eligibility to work in Canada as a condition.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Graduation Diploma required.
• Experience in building and grounds maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties and responsibilities on a day-to-day basis, as assigned, to ensure a clean, safe and healthy environment.
• Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: grounds maintenance, waste removal, dust control, glass and mirror cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, stripping and refinishing of floors, replenishing and maintaining an inventory of custodial supplies, sterilizing and sanitizing fixtures and surfaces.
• Other related duties as may be assigned by the Facilities Services Supervisor, Lead Custodian, Principal, and/or Designate.

Education

Secondary School Graduation Diploma
