Job summary

First Student, Inc. in Perth, ON is hiring part-time school bus drivers to transport students to and from school each day. You’ll start with morning pickups and finish with afternoon drops, with additional hours possible for field trips and events.

No prior experience is required; we provide expert training to help you become a safe and professional driver. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for B license drivers, with guaranteed minimum hours and a community-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Have a full G license for at least 1 year.
• Part-time schedule with summers off.
• Willing to complete training and stay with the program.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts.
• Maintain order on the bus during trips.
• Report issues and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with parents and school staff about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service on every route.
