Job summary

First Student is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Atikokan, Ontario. You'll start mornings with student pickups and return them home in the afternoon, with possible hours for field trips and events.

A $1,500 sign-on bonus for G Licensed drivers (and $5,000 for B Licensed) is offered, with no prior experience required and comprehensive training provided. Pay starts at $25.40 per hour, with a schedule Monday through Friday and no nights, weekends, holidays, or summers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Full G license for at least 1 year, with safe driving history.
• Part-time schedule with summers off; daytime transportation for students.
• Willingness to complete company training and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues and keep the bus clean.
• Obey traffic laws and company safety standards; communicate delays to parents and staff.
• Demonstrate leadership and strong customer service throughout routes.
