Job summary

The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a Temporary Part-Time Administrative Assistant at Canora Junior Elementary School in Canora, Saskatchewan. The role supports staff, parents, and visitors with clerical tasks and requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Term runs from November 6, 2026 to January 15, 2027, 6.5 hours per day under CUPE 4784. Salary ranges with an hourly rate between 21.64 and 26.56 CAD, plus vacation pay; benefits include SSBA, MEPP, and

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
• Acute attention to detail; adaptability and teamwork.
• Accounting knowledge is an asset; able to learn technology and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Greet parents and visitors in a friendly manner.
• Receive and forward inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
• Create, manipulate, and manage spreadsheets, documents, and files.
• Operate the public address system and other office equipment.
• Collaborate with school administration and staff daily.
• Maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to the school.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or designate.
