Job summary

Urban Barn is hiring a Part-time Sales Associate for the Skyview store in Edmonton, AB. You will help customers choose furniture and home décor, provide product knowledge, and ensure a friendly, memorable shopping experience.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in retail sales, ability to use POS and iPad, and a flexible schedule including weekends. You will join a team that values design and a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience.
• Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPad.
• Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week - including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift.
• Ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg.

Responsibilities

Accompany and guide customers to find inspiring furniture and home décor during their visit to our store. As a Sales Associate, you will represent Urban Barn by offering friendly service and product knowledge to help our customers create a space they love to call home. In collaborating with the store team and managers, you will provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we’re looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts (i.e. weekdays, weeknights and weekends).

What You Will Do:

• Guide customers in their décor choices, suggesting the best products for their needs


• Provide a warm greeting to every customer


• Establish connections with customers to build customer loyalty


• Carry out transactions (purchases, exchanges, and returns)


• Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store

What you Bring:
