Job summary

The Beer Store in Shelburne, Ontario is seeking energetic part-time retail staff to provide excellent customer service at our 802 Main Street East location. You will process payments, assist customers, and uphold health and safety standards in a unionized store environment.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, with a high school diploma or GED and retail experience. Weekend availability is required; wage starts at CAD 17.95 per hour with potential increases per the collective agreement.

• Minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience

The Role

We currently have vacancies for Part-Time Retail Staff for our Shelburne, Ontario store. We are looking for employees who are energetic, enthusiastic and share our passion and commitment to satisfying our customers.

A Retail Location at 802 Main Street East, Shelburne, ON, L0N 1S4

What You'll Be Doing

• In this unionized role, you will be required to serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• You are expected to follow all health and safety procedures and must use all PPE provided
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience

Skills

• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for more then 100 ft (30 metres) for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 2 or more hours during a shift
• Able to perform basic computer functions
• Must be available to work weekends

Compensation

Wages starting at $17.95 and subject to wage increases based on hours worked according to the terms outlined in the Collective Agreement.
