Job summary

The Beer Store in Brampton is hiring Part-Time Retail Staff to support daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will stock shelves, handle deliveries, and help customers with purchases in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, have a High School or GED, and possess at least 1 year of retail experience. Weekend availability and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required. Training is provided in a unionized setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 1 year of consecutive retail experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and unload delivery trucks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Serve customers daily and process payments.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Role

We currently have vacancies for Part-Time Retail Staff for our Brampton, Ontario store. We are looking for employees who are energetic, enthusiastic and share our passion and commitment to satisfying our customers.

Location

A Retail Location at 80 Peel Centre Dr, Brampton, ON, L6T 4G8.

What You'll Be Doing

• Stocking shelves, unloading delivery trucks, maintaining store cleanliness
• In this unionized role, you will be required to serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• You are expected to follow all health and safety procedures and must use all PPE provided
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience

Skills

• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for more then 100 ft (30 metres) for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 2 or more hours during a shift
• Able to perform basic computer functions
• Must be available to work weekends

Compensation

Wages starting at $17.95 and subject to wage increases based on hours worked according to the terms outlined in the Collective Agreement.
