Job summary

Nurturing Roots Wellness in Midland, Ontario is seeking a part-time Registered Social Worker to join our close-knit team. The role offers growth toward full-time as caseload develops, with support for referrals, marketing, and local reputation-building.

The successful candidate will be registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and bring experience supporting adults through anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, and life transitions.

Qualifications

• OCSWSSW registration in good standing.
• Experience supporting adults with anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, life transitions.
• Grounded, compassionate, client-centered approach.
• Interest in nervous-system-informed and whole-person care.
• EMDR training is a strong asset but not required.
• Willingness to continue learning and developing clinical skills.
• Comfort working independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy to adult clients.
• Address concerns such as anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, and life transitions.
• Develop your clinical niche within a nervous-system-informed framework.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of practitioners.
