Job summary

Catholic Crosscultural Services in Ontario seeks a part-time Project Lead to develop, coordinate, and implement the Choice for Change program. You will collaborate with the CFSPD Program Coordinator to reach eligible cultural groups, recruit participants and volunteers, and deliver group sessions with trauma-informed, accessible services for men at risk of violence.

The role emphasizes outreach, reporting, and active involvement in agency activities.

Qualifications

• Social Work degree from a recognized institution or equivalent training in community work sectors.
• Minimum of 2 years' work experience in the settlement and/or community work sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in organizing and facilitating group activities for men of all age groups.
• Understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting immigrant and refugee communities.
• Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills with participants, other agencies and the public.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to create the work plan, identify target cultural groups, and establish the timeframe.
• Develop an outreach plan to engage service providers and recruit participants.
• Recruit and support volunteers, and engage participants to become future volunteers.
• Deliver group cohort sessions and coordinate volunteers to support participants' engagement in group discussions.
• Follow up on client needs and refer to CFSPD programs as required.
• Prepare and submit monthly statistical and progress reports for the funder.
• Participate in agency committees and special projects as assigned.
• Attend agency activities and meetings and assist with fundraising as needed.
