Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking Part-time Production Workers for The Original Cakerie in London, Ontario. You will join the production line, performing depositing, decorating and packaging tasks to create high-quality cake products.

Applicants should have food-environment experience preferred, be flexible, detail-oriented, and maintain an excellent attendance record. Shifts run Monday through Saturday, with Saturdays required and 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food environment preferred.
• Must be available for all start times on your chosen shift.
• Shift availability: minimum of 3 shifts per week, including Saturdays.

What will you do: We make cake of course!

• Work on the production line in a variety of roles (Depositing, Decorating and Packaging) to produce our high-quality cake products
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Work on various tasks with a focus on detail and quality
• Work in a fast-paced, teamwork environment
• Share in our passion for making amazing, delicious, high-quality desserts

Shift Summary:

• Required to be available for a minimum of 3shifts per week from Monday to Saturday,with Saturdays being a regularly required shift
• Desire more hours? Increase your availability
• A and B shift runs for 10hours with a 30-minute break added

Schedule:

• Shifts are scheduled Monday through Saturdayand 10 hours in length
• Schedules are posted 2 weeks in advance
• Start times could be different every day.
  • A-Shift start times between (1:00 am - 9:45 am)
  • B-Shift start times between (11:30am - 8:15 pm)

• We pay great wages!
• $21.18per hour during probationary period (70 shifts)
• $23.53per hour after probationary period
• Shift premium for all hours worked between 7:00 pm – 5:00 am
