Job summary

Dessert Holdings Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator for our London, Ontario facility. You will handle shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires operating Crown Reach and Standup Reach forklifts, maintaining accuracy, and following safety procedures in cold conditions. Full-time, onsite work with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid forklift license.
• Must be able to operate Crown Reach/Standup Reach trucks.
• Comfortable working in cold temperatures down to -30°C.
• Legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
• Scheduling flexibility and independent work style.
• Proficient with computers and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Staging and setup of packaging materials in packaging departments.
• Picking and storing raw materials in the warehouse.
• Preparing receiving tickets for the next day.
• Receiving raw materials and locating products in the warehouse.
• Order selection and loading of trailers; maintain clean areas.
• Inventory cycle counts and safe, efficient handling of power equipment.

Dessert Holdings is currently seeking aWarehouse Forklift Operatorto become a part of our dynamic team at ourLondon, Ontariofacility. This individual willwork in the warehouse, performing shipping, receiving and inventory relatedduties.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Staging /set up of packaging materials in respective packaging departments
• Picking and storing of raw materials
• Preparation of next day's receiving tickets
• Receiving of raw materials
• Locating products in the warehouse; use of forklift required
• Order selection and loading of trailers
• Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas
• Inventory cycle counts
• Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts and walkies
• Adherence to procedures, safety practices and policy

Position Requirements:

• MUST be able to drive aCrown ReachStandupReach Truck
• Must have a valid forklift license
• Must be comfortable working in cold temperatures that go up to - 30°C
• Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
• Scheduling flexibility
• Ability to work independently, well organized, effective judgment
• Proficient with computer applications and comfortable learning new systems
• Focused on detail, accuracy and a strong mathematical aptitude
• Cooperative and works well with others, strong communicator.

Shift:

• B-shift: Flexible (4days a week)2:30 PMto 1:00 AM
• C-shift: Flexible (5 days a week) 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM

Pay Rate:

$25.54per hour(probationary), $28.38per hour (full rate)
