Mel's Pharmacy in Craik, Saskatchewan is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will support pharmacists and technicians to deliver quality patient care while greeting customers and handling calls.

Responsibilities include prescription entry, labeling, packaging, stocking, and clerical duties. Availability includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; 28 hours per week expected.

Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Experience with prescription data entry and Kroll is an asset.
• Pharmacy Assistant certification/training is an asset.
• Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in delivering quality patient care.
• Greet customers and answer phone calls professionally.
• Assist with prescription entry, labeling, packaging, and medication preparation under supervision.
• Receive and stock medications and supplies, monitor inventory, and assist with audits.
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy and properly dispose of expired medications.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, insurance claims, and prescription transfers.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations as needed.
