Qualifications
Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy is preferred.
Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset.
Skilled in using Kroll and accurate in prescription data entry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes occasionally.
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
Support pharmacists in providing patient care.
Greet customers and answer phone calls professionally.
Assist with entering, labeling, and packaging prescriptions.
Count, measure, and package medications as per protocols.
Receive and stock medications, monitor inventory levels.
Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area.
