Job summary

Food Basics is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant (Part Time) in Richmond Hill to support pharmacists in dispensing and pharmacy services. You will work under the pharmacist on duty and the Pharmacy Manager, helping achieve objectives while following company standards and Ontario College of Pharmacists’ guidelines.

You’ll handle prescription refills, maintain patient profiles, assist with dispensary paperwork, and ensure store standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant program completed.
• 2+ years in retail pharmacy preferred.
• Proficient with pharmacy software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the technical act of dispensing.
• Receive prescription refill requests and verbal prescriptions per laws.
• Manage patient profiles, scan and file records.
