Job summary

Thrive Group is hiring Part-Time Personal Attendants for Helen Homes on the Hamilton Mountain. Training will be provided for non-certified PSWs, with a supportive, not-for-profit environment.

Responsibilities include non-medical personal care, life-skills support, light housekeeping, and assisting with appointments. A VSC/CR check is required, with a $24.00 hourly rate and opportunities for growth and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of providing support services for people with disabilities and/or seniors is an asset.
• Ability to empathize with people with physical and emotional needs is essential.
• Good oral and written communication in English is required.
• A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check or Criminal Reference Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical personal support services and life-skills support.
• Assist clients with personal care and accompany them to appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to help clients live independently.
