Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Edson is seeking a Food Service I to support the Patient Food Services department. This Regular Part Time role has a 0.83 FTE and entails following established standards for basic food preparation, packaging, portioning, serving meals, and maintaining clean work areas.

Responsibilities include adhering to menus, rotating tasks across days and shifts, and complying with safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 46 lbs and push/pull meal carts up to 250 lbs.
• Must walk and stand for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Package and portion food items according to guidelines.
• Prepare food according to set menus.
• Serve meals to patients and customers.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables and serving areas.
