Job summary

Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a part-time temporary Media Center Support position at the Instructional Media Center at our Division Office, Innisfail. The successful candidate will assist with maintaining an inviting learning environment and support the division’s learning commons philosophy.

Responsibilities include managing IMC inventory, collaborating on resource acquisition and organization, and performing physical tasks as needed while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Library Information Technology, Library Studies, or related field is an asset.
• Proficiency with technology to support library functions.
• Ability to shift priorities in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an inviting learning commons environment.
• Advocate for the Instructional Media Center and learning commons across the division.
• Manage distribution, maintenance, and inventory of the IMC.
• Collaborate with IMC team to acquire, process, and organize resources.
• Safely lift and move resources on a repetitive basis.
