Job summary

Chinook’s Edge School Division is hiring a full-time Educational Assistant for Sundre High School (Grades 9-12). The role involves working one-on-one with a student, providing individualized support, and assisting with personal care needs and mobility.

You will also support small groups and collaborate with the classroom teacher. Preference will be given to certified Educational Assistants with related experience.

Job description

Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full‑time temporary Educational Assistant position at Sundre High School (Grades 9-12), effective immediately. The successful candidate will provide educational support to students throughout the school day. The role will include:

• Working one-on‑one with a student for part of the day, providing individualized support and assistance.
• Supporting the student with personal care needs, including toileting and feeding.
• Providing mobility support and being comfortable walking and being on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Working with small groups of students during other portions of the day supporting a classroom teacher.

Preference will be given to individuals who are certified Educational Assistants and have related experience.
