Job summary

Western University’s Ivey Business School is seeking part-time markers for several case-method courses. You will mark a variety of written work across courses and submit grades for instructor review, while providing clear feedback to students.

Applicants should have completed Business 1220/1299 or 2257, with strong English, proofreading, and communication skills, plus the ability to handle confidential information and manage a fluctuating workload. This is a Fall/Winter 2026-27 engagement.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and proofreading abilities with an excellent command of the English language.
• Excellent communication to convey information and feedback clearly.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality according to standards.

Responsibilities

• Mark and grade a variety of written work, including assignments, projects, midterms, and finals.
• Evaluate student work according to marking guidelines and provide corrections and feedback.
• Submit grades for instructor review and, if required, schedule consultations with the instructor.
