Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Aide at Granite Landing in Cambridge, ON. You will perform routine repairs across electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, along with light carpentry and grounds maintenance.

You must be able to follow English instructions, work independently, and handle physically demanding tasks. Knowledge of health and safety rules is required; a Vulnerable Sector Check may be needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to self-regulate and work independently.
• Must be capable of performing physical duties including moving heavy objects.
• Familiar with plumbing, electrical, heating, water, gas, mechanical, plastering and painting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Executes routine repairs and carries out minor maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing equipment and building.
• Paints, performs minor carpentry and maintains exterior grounds.
• Inspects premises regularly for maintenance and safety and reports findings.
• Adheres to facility policies, safety rules, and duties as assigned.
• Fulfil housekeeping and maintenance duties as needed while in handyman role.
