RONA is seeking a Lumber Yard Associate for a part-time regular role in Ontario, Canada. You will deliver expert advice on lumber and building materials, help customers load products, and verify invoices to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, organizing stock, labeling prices, and maintaining a safe, clean yard. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and exceptional customer service to support a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer assistance for lumber and building materials
• Safely assist customers with loading and unloading
• Verify invoices and correct product is provided

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for lumber and building material needs
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided
• Assist with daily upkeep of the department including unloading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
