Job summary

RONA in Saint-Hyacinthe, QC is seeking a lumberyard team member to support customers with building projects and contribute to a well-organized yard. You will provide expert advice on lumber and building materials, assist with loading, and help verify invoices while maintaining stock, safety, and cleanliness.

You will also handle opening/closing duties and related tasks to ensure smooth store operations. Join a team that emphasizes inclusivity, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for lumber and building material needs.
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently.
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided.
• Assist with daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers.
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
