Job summary

Cornerstone Co-op's Vermilion liquor store is hiring a part-time Liquor Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure compliance with policies and provincial regulations, and deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to members and customers.

You will support the Liquor Store Manager, coach Clerks, oversee inventory and POS processes, and help maintain a safe, inclusive, and efficient store environment across day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain via AGLC upon hire)
• Grade 12 education or equivalent retail/customer service experience
• Strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail
• Available to work evenings and weekends; physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a satisfactory 5-year abstract

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Liquor Store operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies and provincial liquor regulations
• Support the Liquor Store Manager and provide oversight in their absence
• Lead, coach, and support Liquor Clerks; coordinate schedules and assist with recruitment
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, storage, stocking, merchandising, and displays
• Operate the POS system; handle transactions, returns, and adjustments; ensure proper procedures
