Job summary

Otter Co-op is hiring a Part Time Liquor Store Associate for the Angry Otter Liquor at Cherry Lane in Penticton, BC. Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, you will deliver friendly, efficient service and handle transactions, stocking, and deliveries while upholding integrity, community, and excellence.

Ideal candidates bring liquor retail experience, a Serving It Right license, and a willingness to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience preferred
• Serving it Right license required
• Must be over 19 years of age
• Open availability for mornings, afternoons, evenings
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns; activate gift cards
• Balance cash drawer at end of shift
• Stock, face, and rotate products on shelves
• Receive, check and store deliveries
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
• Support company values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned
