Job summary

The Good Spirit School Division is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Library Technician at Macdonald School. The role supports and assists in developing, organizing and maintaining the school library to promote student learning and well-being.

Responsibilities include providing library services, operating the library system, cataloguing resources, and keeping the collection up to date. Qualification requires a Grade 12 diploma; teamwork and adaptability are assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
• Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide library services to students and staff.
• Operate and maintain the computer-base library system to circulate library materials, generate reports and complete inventory checks.
• Catalogue all library resources
• Organize, maintain and update all materials in the library collection.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or designate and those listed in Job Description.
