Job summary

Pet Valu is recruiting for a Part-time Keyholder in New Westminster, BC. You will support daily store operations, assist customers, and help maintain an inviting shopping environment for pets and their families.

The role requires at least 2 years in retail or customer service, proficiency with POS systems, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and assist customers at the point of sale.
• Prepare merchandise orders, banking and other related paperwork.
• Stock shelves with pet supplies and household items (up to 50 lbs).
• Perform cleaning, sweeping and general store maintenance tasks.
• Assist unloading deliveries and stocking inventory.
• Open and close the store following procedures; support daily goals.
