Job summary

Pet Valu is hiring a Part-time Keyholder in St. Albert to support store operations, sales and customer service. You’ll help ensure accurate cash handling, assist with deliveries and merchandising, and open/close procedures in coordination with management.

The role requires at least 2 years in retail or customer service, knowledge of POS systems, and a friendly, reliable approach. The schedule includes evenings, weekends and holidays, with staff discounts and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Outgoing, friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation; driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other paperwork.
• Stocking small items (under 50 lbs) in sales area.
• General store maintenance: sweeping and dusting.
• Unloading deliveries and stocking supplies.
• Open and close the store following procedures.
• Assist ACEs with daily goals when managers are away.
• Other duties as required.
