Job summary

North Wellington Health Care's Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest, Ontario, is seeking a Regular Part-Time Registered Nurse for a job-share line. The role provides comprehensive nursing care per College of Nurses of Ontario standards and hospital policies.

The candidate must hold an Ontario RN certificate; BScN is an asset. ACLS/NRP/BCLS credentials or progress plans are required within set timelines, with ability to work across all hospital areas and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current Ontario RN Certificate of Competence.
• BCLS current.
• ACLS or commitment to obtain within 6 months.
• NRP, or commitment to obtain within 6 months.
• Cardiac monitoring skills (ECG interpretation) or commitment to obtain within 3 months.
• IV start and phlebotomy competency or commitment to obtain within 3 months.
• Defibrillation certification or competency within 6 months.
• Must be prepared to work in all areas of the Hospital.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven organizational and critical‑thinking skills.
• Ability to function as an interdisciplinary team member and leadership/charge role.
• Willingness to participate in departmental educational activities.
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check required.
• Pre‑Employment Health Assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care as established by College of Nurses of Ontario standards.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team in a hospital setting.
• Assume leadership/charge role when required.
• Participate in ongoing departmental education and quality initiatives.
• Adapt to all hospital areas to meet patient care needs.
