Job summary

A local municipality in Ontario is seeking part-time Rink Attendants to assist with ice maintenance and ensure facility cleanliness and safety at various recreation facilities. Responsibilities include greeting the public, maintaining ice, and performing general cleaning tasks. Ideal candidates will possess customer service experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to meet physical demands of the job. This role offers up to 23 hours per week at a pay rate of $17.95 per hour, with evening and weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and/or relevant training is an asset.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting and pushing/pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ice maintenance and associated equipment.
• Patrol facility for safety hazards and operational issues.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks.
